Fitting Instructions

Get the Perfect Fit – Every Time

Installing your new Motolab graphics is simple when done right. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish that’ll turn heads on and off the track.

What You’ll Need:

  • A clean cloth or microfiber towel
  • Mild soapy water (or isopropyl alcohol)
  • Squeegee or soft card
  • Heat gun or hairdryer (optional for curves & edges)

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Prep the Surface
Wash and dry the plastics thoroughly. Wipe down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue or wax. A clean surface is essential for long-lasting adhesion.
  2. Test Fit
Line up each piece without removing the backing to check placement. This helps avoid errors when sticking down.
  3. Apply Slowly
Peel back a small section of the backing and press the graphic into place. Use your squeegee to smooth it down as you go, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles.
  4. Work with Heat (if needed)
For curves or complex areas, use a heat gun gently to make the vinyl more flexible. Don’t overheat—just enough to help it conform.
  5. Final Press
Once everything is in place, go over each graphic with firm pressure. Let your bike sit for 24 hours before riding for maximum bond.
