Fitting Instructions
Get the Perfect Fit – Every Time
Installing your new Motolab graphics is simple when done right. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish that’ll turn heads on and off the track.
What You’ll Need:
- A clean cloth or microfiber towel
- Mild soapy water (or isopropyl alcohol)
- Squeegee or soft card
- Heat gun or hairdryer (optional for curves & edges)
Step-by-Step Guide:
-
Prep the Surface
Wash and dry the plastics thoroughly. Wipe down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue or wax. A clean surface is essential for long-lasting adhesion. -
Test Fit
Line up each piece without removing the backing to check placement. This helps avoid errors when sticking down. -
Apply Slowly
Peel back a small section of the backing and press the graphic into place. Use your squeegee to smooth it down as you go, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles. -
Work with Heat (if needed)
For curves or complex areas, use a heat gun gently to make the vinyl more flexible. Don’t overheat—just enough to help it conform. -
Final Press
Once everything is in place, go over each graphic with firm pressure. Let your bike sit for 24 hours before riding for maximum bond.
